Supportive Care
Supportive Care is offered for patients requiring or currently undergoing therapeutic or palliative Oncological [Surgical, Radiation or Medical] interventions.
• Counselling to remove misconceptions and motivating patients and their families to undergo Oncological interventions [in consultation with the treating Oncologists].
• Impeccable assessment and Management of symptoms [pain, nausea & vomiting, breathlessness, odynophagia, hiccups, constipation , etc.], before, during and after Oncological interventions.
• Motivation of the local community to provide emotional and social support to the patient and family [through a network of trained volunteers].
• Liaison with charity minded individuals, organizations and institutions to provide financial support for Oncological interventions and rehabilitation of those in need.
Quality of Life Care
Quality of Life Care is offered for patients with progressive, incurable malignancies and non malignant diseases like AIDS, muscular dystrophy, dementias, elderly with multi-organ failures, etc.
• Correction of possible correctable symptoms.
• Providing good nursing care as well as empowering the family to give nursing care to the patient at home.
• Counselling services to deal with emotional problems of the patient and family.
• Social support to the patient and family through a network of trained volunteers.
• Liaison with charity minded individuals, organizations and institutions to provide financial support and rehabilitation of those in need.

Long Term Care
Long Term Care is needed for patients with non-progressive or slow progressing, incurable conditions, which limits the quality of life e.g. Paraplegics, quadriplegics, or bed bound hemiplegics, etc.
• Aspects of care similar to ‘Quality of Life Care’.
End of Life Care
End of Life Care may be required for patients in the terminal phases of their illnesses, irrespective of their diagnosis [in liaison with the treating physician]
• Assessment and Management of symptoms usually confronted during the terminal phase of illnesses e.g. severe pain, breathlessness, delirium, etc.
• Terminal sedation [in the presence of refractory symptoms only].
• Counselling the family about futility of life prolonging interventions e.g. ventilator support.
• Bereavement support to the family.
Chronic Pain Care
Chronic Pain Care is for patients suffering from non malignant chronic pains e.g. myofacial pain syndromes, complex regional pain syndromes, peripheral ischemic pains, failed back syndromes, inter-vertebral disc protrusion pains , etc.
• Detailed assessment of pain.
• Management through WHO protocol based Pharmacological, Physical, Psychological and Interventional Pain Management Techniques.
• It is desirable [not essential] that any systemic, orthopedic or neurologically correctable pathology has been ruled out prior to evaluation by a Pain Specialist.
Lymph Oedema Care
Lymph Oedema Care is offered for patients suffering from lymph oedema due to malignant diseases, non malignant diseases, surgery, radiation , etc.
• Nurses trained in Lymph Oedema Management teach patients and family:

↔ Lymph Oedema Massages
↔ Lymph Oedema Exercises
↔ Lymph Oedema containment and support with bandaging and hosiery
• Counselling for emotional support and motivation.
